The Driftless Region of southwest Wisconsin offers some of the country’s best spring creek trout fishing. These intimate limestone creeks are extremely fertile and provide the perfect habitat for high numbers of wild fish. Though the creeks are small, the fish populations equal or exceed those of the most famous fisheries in the west! The combination of high fish density and prolific hatches makes for truly world-class trout fishing.
Spring Creek Trout Trips
The Driftless offers a little something for any trout angler. If technical dry fly fishing to spooky risers peaks your interest, there is plenty of that to be had. Conversely, if you are interested in getting into trout fishing and want to learn techniques and approaches, a Driftless trip is a great way to cut the learning curve. Either way, honing your skills on these spring creeks translates into better success anywhere your trout fishing adventures take you.
*Cost of the trip includes lunch, snacks, N.A. drinks, flies, and terminal tackle. Rods can be provided if need be. Reach out to Charlie directly for lodging recommendations
*Anglers need wading gear, appropriate clothing, polarized sun glasses, and a Wisconsin fishing license with the inland trout stamp.
Stay safe and healthy friends,
The Tight Lines Team
