Tributary Report A lack of rain, 80 degree days and the fact that our snow has been gone for almost two months now has made the steelhead fishing tricky. Most of the rivers north of Sheboygan are getting very low and have had good numbers of suckers now for a couple weeks. There are still fish around, but be prepared to fish low-light, rainy days and use smaller flies/tippets than you normally would. The rivers from Sheboygan to Racine are in much better shape and are holding…Details
Two spots just opened up for this trip of a lifetime! This is by far the most exotic and my favorite destination in the world. This year we are doing something a bit different and not staying at the lodge. I have worked out details with the lodge manager for a camp trip far up the Itrasams and Pluma Rivers. We will be taking dug out canoes upstream and camping each night with our guides deeper and deeper into the Bolivian Jungle. This is very rare to have a couple of spots open up for this trip during prime…Details

OhmygodWinstondoyouseethatherehecomesohmygodthat’sunbelievable … Unlike me, Winston kept his wits about him—which is to say, he didn’t fall apart like a cheap suit and yank his bug off the water before the smallie could crush it. He coolly waited for the eat, and when it came—in a sudden, savage boil—he set the hook. The bass shot out of the Menominee…Details

I am sending along a quick update as to what is happening on the rivers. A special thank you to SIMMS fishing Ambassador Nate Sipple for the report. Stop by the shop with any questions and make sure to get out and do some fishing this fall. It is truly the most beautiful time of the year to be on the water. October fishing report Well, it’s the first week of October and most…Details
