The Patagonia River Ranch offers each guest something special. A warm welcome on arrival finds you soon settled into your room, luggage stowed and a gourmet meal, before you embark on your first adventure. You have many options before you…what will you decide to do?
Fishing is the draw and the fishing is fantastic! With six different rivers in close proximity to the Lodge, each stretch you fish, offers endless angling opportunities. The guide service operation is a well oiled machine – truly impressive to behold. You’ll find that the scenery is reminiscent of our American West, without road noise and airplane contrails and the crowds…you feel away from it all, allowed to appreciate the majesty of nature. You’ll hear and see birds, catch a glimpse of Guanaco (similar to an Alpaca), Red Stag, wild boar, perhaps a fox – even local Gauchos checking things out. The river is cold, clear and full of big Brown and Rainbow trout. The fishing is spectacular, hands down.
The lodge offers both world class amenities and a wide range of activity options if you elect to give your “catching arm” a break. Trips to San Martin for lunch, art and some shopping allows you to experience the culture. Hiking allows you to appreciate the breathtaking scenery, horse back riding is not your typical trail ride…. They even offer a cooking (eating) class. A lodge host/hostess accompanies you on these adventures to help ensure your questions and needs are met.
Join Tim and Sarah Landwehr for your next fishing adventure – because this January when the sleet and snow start to chill our bones in the North, we could enjoy Summer in the South and catch some big fish. Let us take the effort out of vacation planning this year, see someplace new and let the fishing adventure of lifetime begin! Don’t miss out on this limited space opportunity – come to fish, come to relax, come for the experience. You’ll want to return! Contact the Shop for details.
