Back 40 Mine Awareness Night

Join us Saturday, January 6th in the upstairs of Titletown Brewing Company for an informational gathering/fundraiser regarding the Back 40 Mine. This open pit sulfide mine represents a very legitimate threat to the health of one of the best smallmouth bass fisheries in the world, the surrounding lands, and the bay of Green Bay. The good news is that, with enough of a unified effort, it’s not too late to put this to halt. Join us in the fight to save the Menominee!

The evening will feature:

• A representative from the River Alliance of Wisconsin elaborating on the dangers of sulfide mining and Back 40

• Members of the Coalition to Save the Menominee River providing updated information on the status of the mine and details on how you can get involved

• Live auction featuring guided trips and gear

• Plenty of Titletown beer!
