BACK 40 AWARNESS NIGHT!!!!
January 6th, 6:00 pm
Become informed and learn how you can help stop this potential disaster on the banks of the Menominee
It’s no secret. Open pit sulfide mining is extremely dangerous to surrounding water bodies. Aquila Mining Resources is attempting to break ground on a massive mine a mere 150 feet from the banks of the Menominee River. This represents a very legitimate threat to the health of one of the best Smallmouth bass fisheries in the world, the surrounding lands, and the bay of Green Bay. Join us at Green Bay’s original brewery and contribute to the fight!
The evening will feature:
Location: Titletown Brewing Company
**Upstairs at the train depot. Titltetown’s original building**
200 Dousman Street
Green Bay, WI 54303

Drinking With a Scissors: No Back 40 Edition
Friday, January 5th 6:00pm
Join us for a fun evening of fly tying to kick off the weekend! Drinking With a Scissors is the brainchild of our good friend, Kyle Zempel, owner of Black Earth Angling Company. This is an annual tying series typically held at breweries in the greater Madison Area. Kyle and Charlie thought it would be a grand idea to bring the event north for an evening. The cost to participate is $40 and all the proceeds will go to the Coalition to Save the Menominee River. The general theme will be bass flies, but feel free to tie whatever you like. Space is limited. Call Charlie at the shop to reserve your seat at the table. Join us for a holiday ale!
